Ayefele Finally Reacts After Ajimobi's Demolition Of His Music House

Popular musician Yinka Ayefele has expressed his grief after the demolition of his 800m Music house, FM station.

The demolition of the music house of Yinka Ayefele, the famed Gospel singer, by the Oyo state government has sparked reactions from both himself and many of his fans, Punch reports.

Yinka Ayefele, in reaction to the development which took place on Sunday, August 19, has said that he obtained the necessary documents and due approvals prior to the construction of the building.

Speaking with newmen Ayefele said that necessary building permits were obtained from the government for the construction of the edifice.

In his statement, he urged Toye Arulogun, the state commissioner for information, culture and tourism, to “refrain from misleading the public” about what led to the demolition.

Ayefele suggested that a discussion relating to the establishment of a central abattoir by the state government could have prompted the development.

He added that the FM station belonged to the people and that he had left everything to God. In an announcement aired on the radio station during its global update, the management of the station called for order after the sad incident.
