American Evangelist, Billy Graham has died at age 99. He died at his mountain home in Montreat, N.C, where he retired in 2005 after nearly six decades on the road calling people to Christ.

He found Christ as a 16-year-old baseball-loving teen at a tent revival. Since then, Graham went on to become an international media personality, a preacher and a man whom many presidents sort advice from.

In a statement to The Christian Post, Will Graham, the grandson of Billy Graham (whose full name is William Franklin Graham Jr.) and the son of Franklin Graham, said:
“My grandfather once said, ‘One day you’ll hear that Billy Graham has died. Don’t you believe it. On that day I’ll be more alive than ever before! I’ve just changed addresses.’ My friends, today my grandfather moved from the land of the dead to the land of the living,”.
The President of the United States of America, President Donald Trump has reacted to the news of the death of the popular evangelist. Via a tweet, he wrote:
“The GREAT Billy Graham is dead. There was nobody like him! He will be missed by Christians and all religions. A very special man.”
Vice President Mike Pence also tweeted his condolence to the family of the late evangelist.
”Karen and I were saddened to learn of the passing of one of the greatest Americans of the century, Reverend Billy Graham. We send our deepest condolences to the Graham family.
Billy Graham’s ministry for the gospel of Jesus Christ and his matchless voice changed the lives of millions. We mourn his passing but I know with absolute certainty that today he heard those words, “well done good and faithful servant.” Thank you Billy Graham. God bless you.”
