In this exclusive interview, we will get to know more about the CEO of Apex film and how it all started for him.

OJblog: Sir, can you please tell our readers your full name?

My name is Tunji Ajayi

OJblog: what do you for a living?

I'm a cinematographer

OJblog: Is cinematography a passion or something you just stumbled into?

Cinematography is what I enjoy doing. I have had passion for it since my secondary school days.

OJblog: Wow!... How did cinematography start for you? The ups and downs, and how you got to this point?

I started before I gained admission into the higher institution. Though it was not easy, but if you have passion for something, you won't look at the difficulties but you forge ahead to achieve what you desire.

OJblog: I have been following you for quite sometime now, and I must confess that you have been doing a great job. What set you apart from other cinematographers? What is that thing you think you are doing right?

The grace of God... I'm always ready to learn and ready to accept corrections, because nobody is above mistakes, and the day you refuse to learn, that is the the day you refuse to grow.

OJblog: Hmmm... That's a great advice from you sir. What is the first major movie you ever shot?

OJblog: Who are those people you look up to in this business? Your mentor(s)?

Holy Spirit is my greatest mentor,and my Oga Olalekan Bature

OJblog: Wow! That's  long list ooo...Oga mi, I haven't  gotten any bank alert oo with all this work. *laughs*.  Which of your works is your biggest project since you started film making?

OJblog: What should we be expecting from you sir, and the projects you are working on?

Lots of quality movies. And the project we are working on is "Fifehan" written by Deji Akintola.

OJblog: Oga mi, I must feature in this movie oo... me sef wan blow o. Smiles... What advice do you have for upcoming cinematographers that want to become like you, Kunle Afolayan, Tunde Kilani and the other top movie makers?

My advice to the upcoming cinematographers is "Put God first, be focused and be determined, and not look at the stress in the job."
